The Solčava Cooperative Society joins landowners of homesteads in the Solčava region and others who deal with the processing and marketing of home products and home resources. Wood, animals for breeding or slaughter and wool are the most important among them. A lot of our homesteads manage the farm in principles of organic farming, they are supplied by the energy of wood biomass or water energy, additionally, they are developing tourism and innovation in home craft. The Solčava region is home to the Slovenian native breed – the Jezersko-Solčava native breed of sheep. Many visitors are attracted by the preserved nature and rich cultural heritage in the hamlets of Robanov Kot, Podolševa, Logarska Dolina and the village of Solčava.
